{HELPING HAND} Pillowcase Dresses for Orphans

You can help send pretty pillow case dresses to orphans, and let them know they are not forgotten!

As many of you know who have read my story, my sweet daughter Annabelle was born with neuro & developmental special needs. My daughter is now a smart, sweet & sassy three year old who we take to and from physical & occupational therapy, and developmental preschool every week. Annabelle lights up our lives and we are so blessed that we have the resources to give her that extra help where she needs it. It breaks my heart to hear Children with developmental disabilities and neurological special needs are the most likely to be abandoned and least likely to be adopted in India.  So when I heard my friend Paula explain how she and her friend Bonnie are reaching out to these precious children, I wanted to know what I could do to help.

Bonnie and Paula are creating special dresses for the little girls of Sarah's Covenant Homes in India. Here is a little information for Sarah's Covenant Homes Website:

We rescue abandoned children with neuro & devel. special needs and offer them love, education, therapy, med & surgical care, and LIFE in Jesus.

Company Overview
Sarah's Covenant Homes (for abandoned children with special needs in India). We rescue abandoned children with neurological & developmental special needs and provide them with love, education, therapy, medical & surgical care, and LIFE in Jesus.

Children with developmental disabilities and neurological special needs are the most likely to be abandoned and least likely to be adopted children in India. The Lord told me, “Feed My lambs.” I find these overlooked and undernourished (in all senses) lambs languishing in institutional orphanages or hospitals, and bring them home, providing them with love, education, therapy, medical & surgical care, and LIFE in a family-style environment.

If you would like to be a part of the pillowcase drive they are looking for new or gently used pillowcases, ribbons and embellishments to help create these adorable dresses and make the girls feel pretty and special. You can message me on our facebook page or email me at itsy-belle@hotmail.com to find out where to send your donations. If you'd like to donate to Sarah's Covenant Home they have information on their website.

Thank you!

Christy
