THANK YOU:
Our sweet little Annabelle just turned two!
Here is the lovely little party we threw to celebrate her!
Guests followed a sign to the entrance of Annabelle's Fairy Garden leading them to a stepping stone path to follow.
The entry table held a photo tree with photos of the birthday girl for the past 12 months and provided a spot for the guests to set their gifts.
Paper lanterns, topiary, paper hydrangea wreath, butterflies and Itsy Belle's Garden Fairy labels adorned the dessert table.
I created this charming paper hydrangea wreath with help from a friend after seeing CopyCrafts version here. We suspended the paper monogram inside the wreath using clear monofilament.
Cupcake toppers created from Itsy Belle's Party Circles, Cupcake Wrappers by Wilton, Sugar Wafer Butterflies from Modern Luxe Events.
The chocolate and vanilla layered cake was covered in Satin Ice fondant and adorned with fresh Peonies and Sugar Wafer Butterflies. For fabulous cake tutorials visit Cake Central.
Sugar cookie pop "Magic Fairy Wands" were a favorite among the littlest guests!
Had a good laugh at myself after my friend pointed out I mixed up the candy jar labels!
The menu included fairy & garden inspired items such as;
"Fairy Toadstools", "Sandwich Snails", "Gnome-Made Granola" topped with "Fairy Berries", and "Pixie Punch".
Waterproof labels with the birthday girl's age and monogram covered water and soda bottles.
Guests enjoyed sipping their pixie punch out of glass bottles with straws.
Vintage Striped straws from Isakay Boutique on Etsy.
And I couldn't resist but share this adorable photo with you! After all what a party is all about is sharing everything with your guests!
If you've been wondering what I've been up to the past few months, now you see! Thank you for taking time to read my blog. Stay tuned for behind the scenes, recipes, tutorials & more from the Garden Fairy Party! Make sure and ask if you have a specific questions, I love to hear your comments!
I was at this celebration of life and I can attest to it's enchanting nature. I was completely lost in a world of fairies and never wanted to leave. The treats were delicious and the snail sandwiches divine. I hope to one day experience again the tranquility of such a shindig.

The event looked absolutely beautiful. I am planning my little boy's 1st birthday party and love the idea of the glass bottles for the punch. Where did you find these?
ReplyDeleteI actually saved the bottles from the Starbucks drinks you can buy at the grocery store! hahaha
